We hit Michaels last night to find some inspiration for May Day. (Boy can that store just sort of stop taking my money?)My creative and crafty days have dwindled since Norwex has exploded, but when I do stop in, it’s like craft voodoo magic hypnotism. It was fun to put together these May Day vases, with flowers from Aldi and items from the bargain bin, we made each one for less than 4 dollars. Violet had so much fun doing this together that she wrote me a thank you note.
Do you celebrate May Day? Its almost a forgotten tradition but when I read an article on NPR about its roots, it reminded me of my Great Grandmother who often helped me make flower baskets for loved ones. PS The smell of a hot glue gun reminds me of my childhood and a Norwex Enviro Cloth will remove said hot glue from hard wood floors.
