A New Year is almost here!
I am not a big fan of resolutions. Maybe it’s the word “resolution” that doesn’t appeal to me, but I much prefer the word “intentions” because it seems more flexible and forgiving.
For 6 years my intentions have always included the practice of teaching people how to live healthier lives. This time of year it’s all about the sugar, carbs and holiday drinks. That’s fun stuff, I agree. But when most people think about getting healthy in the coming year, they think just about how much naughty stuff they have consumed via mouth and how much exercise they haven’t logged in recent months. There are so many puzzle pieces to health and wellness. (Lyme disease has taught me that.) One key player in the healthy living wheel is reducing your exposure to chemicals. It’s one of the easier ones to tackle and doesn’t have to be time consuming, gives you almost immediate results, and improves the health and well-being of those around you, including kids and pets.
2018 will be another year of giving people the knowledge and tools to clean their home faster, safer and better. I hope you will consider hosting an in-home demonstration with me, as the best, most fun, and rewarding way is to teach others you care about how to improve their lives in one of the most unexpected of ways– via cleaning with Norwex.
