Gluten intolerant over lactose intolerance any day.

My childhood was made up of a lot of silly moments with a mom who had very few objections to doing wildly goofy things that were wicked fun until they began to cause me major embarrassment. She did cartwheels in the street. She would dance randomly. She walked around in her bra around the house a lot. She sang. Sometimes she told dirty jokes. No worries about losing her at Walmart, just stop and listen for her laugh and eventually you’d locate her. She did this dumb Monkee walk with us. At stoplights, we were bullied into car dancing (move your top half aggressively) and she also had us do this thing named something offensive where we’d get out of the car at a stoplight and run around the car and then get back in. We took her toilet papering in high school and she outran us all as we made our escape. I’m not nearly as uninhibited as her, but I do appreciate how unique she is and did inherit her ability to laugh easily and be entertained by the simple joys in an often complicated world.
