When my girls have an early release from school, I pick them up and we go on fun local adventures. Today we took the neighbor girl with us.

Her face reminded me how uncommonly good we have it.

I have a career I love.

I don’t like talking about money any more than I have to, but I earn a doctor or a lawyer salary but without the long hours and demanding schedule. I know how crazy that is and I don’t take it for granted.

By the time these three girls have grown up, I hope they will never have to choose to be great at a career or great at motherhood. Every woman deserves to have both.
